How does ProSpeaker detect article content?
We use Mozilla Readability—the same library Firefox uses for Reader Mode. It extracts your main content and skips nav, ads, and sidebars. Need more control? Specify a CSS selector or pass text directly via the API.
Will I pay twice for the same article?
No. We cache audio automatically. Same article = no extra cost. You only pay when content changes. Most sites save 40-60%.
Is ProSpeaker WCAG compliant?
Yes. WCAG 2.1 AA out of the box: keyboard nav, screen reader support, ARIA labels, focus indicators.
Can I customize the player?
Yes. Colors, position (floating/inline/fixed), controls. Or use the headless SDK and build your own UI.
What if I exceed my credit limit?
We notify you at 80% and 100%. If you exceed it, audio generation pauses but cached audio keeps playing. Upgrade instantly from the dashboard, or enable overages if you've opted in.
What are your pricing plans?
Starter: $25/month for 4,000 credits. Growth: $69/month for 10,000 credits. Business: $149/month for 25,000 credits. 1 credit = 100 characters. All plans include all 4 voice providers and smart caching.
Do you have a WordPress plugin?
Not yet. For now, you add the widget with a script tag in your WordPress HTML settings or theme files. Plugin coming soon.
